Probable causes and solutions:
1. Please confirm whether your mobile phone card is in arrears or does not pass real-name certification. Please contact the local operator for confirmation.
2. Check whether the SMSC number is set correctly. Contact the local operator for confirmation.
3. Check whether disturbance interception is configured by using third-party software, and whether short messages are intercepted by mistake as junk messages.
4. The short message receiving delay may be caused by network problems (for example, the short message peak hours on holidays or the short message server of the short message sender). Wait patiently or send the short message again.
5. Because the SMS memory is full, new information cannot be received in a timely manner. You can delete some or all of the information.
6. Check the message contents, or check whether there are sensitive words such as pornographic or political words in the sender. If yes, they may be screened by the operator.
7. If a mobile phone is powered off or is not in the service area, short messages cannot be received in a timely manner. In most cases, short messages are stored in the system for 48 hours. When the mobile phone is powered on within 48 hours or is returned to a place with network signals, the system automatically resends the short messages.
If the duration of a short message exceeds 48 hours, the short message cannot be received any longer.
9. If your mobile phone has one-way communication between two cards, and one card is on the ongoing call, but the other card is not, disconnect the call, and check whether the other card can receive short messages.
