What is the function of the light sensor

An optical sensor adjusts the brightness of the screen in different lighting conditions, for example, indoor and outdoor light. When you make a call, the proximity sensor automatically shuts down the screen when you are near the phone, preventing you from touching the screen. If the screen cannot be closed automatically when you call the phone and place it near your ear, the light sensor may be faulty. It is recommended that you try calibration again.
